I know that on every cruise you get all different age groups, but what is an early May cruise like in terms of the amount of teenagers?

That will depend on what port you depart from.

 

May is still a school month so there is normally not a lot of still in school teenagers.

 

Trying to avoid or insure some are on board?

 

Also are you talking 4 day weekend cruises or 7 day full week cruise?

There usually aren't many as summer hasn't started yet and most spring breaks are over.

I just got back from the Miracle May 6-14 out of NYC. There were not a lot of teens at all- a lot of younger kids though. We didn't notice any of them (besides our 8 year old) because most were under 5 and still with their parents all the time. I would say the average age was 40's from what I noticed. It was a very nice and relaxing cruise and I think a perfect time to sail!

DH and I booked our cruise together this year and next year in May. Not as many kids and price is cheaper in May!

7 day out of New Orleans in early May this year and very few kids of any age including teens.

oh okay well I'm in college and would be cruising with family so I was just curious about the 18+ age range, which obviously isn't many.

There are more kids at the end of May rather than the beginning of May.
