Emerald Lido Deck

Has anyone had a balcony cabin on lido deck on board the Emerald? This is a forward cabin in front of Neptune Pool. Just wondering about noise, although pools are usually quiet at night.

We were in cabin L-235 on Emerald Princess 11/28/10 sailing. I loved the cabin. I would suggest to get a cabin a little forward of the lifts. PAX use the lifts to get to the pool and the doors to the pool area are open a lot . Therefore the hallway just a little pass the lifts can be warm. The other side (even number) had a smokey smell that was in the hall way coming from the lido area down to about one half of the hall way. I would not take a cabin that is all the way forward because of the gym above you.

We had a starboard cabin on the Emerald's Lido for a cruise in the Greek islands and we thought it was great. Very smooth, near the Horizon Court and not crowded.
