Cruise Photos

I was looking over the RCC web site and see that you are able to buy photo packages. It seems that these photographers are all over the place. They even go as far as saying there are over 40 opportunities to have your photo taken. I didn't have that many at my wedding. I do not wish to be hounded for a photo while on my cruise. Do they bother you this much or am I blowing it out of proportion.

They don't bother you at all. Other than occassionally at dinner and when you get off the ships in port, we rarely have anyone stop and want to take pictures. You can get as many or as few as you want, so don't worry about it. they do not bother you at all.

While they'll be around a simple "no, thanks" will usually suffice. We didn't find the photographers to be intrusive on our Alaska cruise.

Thank You! that puts my mind at ease. It's one of my pet peeves. I hate to be contantly asked for the same thing. It's as bad as a waiter that comes over to you 5 times during your meal to ask how is everything. I just want to say the first time "Everything is Ok now leave us alone"

The only time they push for a photo is getting off the ship in port & once or twice at dinner. All the other photo opportunities you stand in line for because YOU want them. Be sure to take the picture when you board as it is a facial recognition photo too. If you do then some ships have a kiosk where you can swipe you card and pictures you have taken other times will appear on the screen without having to look for them.
