cruiseliner Posted March 19, 2005 #1 Share Posted March 19, 2005 We are considering booking the NCL star to Alaska, and were wondering where the best position for an inside cabin would be. I would guess that somewhere around deck 10 would be a good choice, and maybe a room at the front of the ship away from the elevators would work? This would be our first cruise and any help would be appreciated.
tigerlilycruiser12 Posted March 19, 2005 #2 Share Posted March 19, 2005 I always get an inside cabin because I get to cruise more often On the Dawn I usually am on Deck 9 as it is easy to get everywhere you want to go. also, I book in the middle of the ship as I feel less motion there in case of rough seas. Dolphins Posted March 19, 2005 #3 Share Posted March 19, 2005 You can't go wrong at the middle of the ship because you will get less pitching motion and have less to travel around the ship. If you really have problems with motion sickness, a lower deck cabin will be calmer.
SweetEmi Posted March 19, 2005 #4 Share Posted March 19, 2005 If you can get 11079 or 11579 - those are the "best" and go the fastest. :) Emi
Joanne G. Posted March 20, 2005 #5 Share Posted March 20, 2005 Why are 11079 and 11579 the best?
shoreguy Posted March 20, 2005 #6 Share Posted March 20, 2005 Why are 11079 and 11579 the best? Look at the deckplan - no nieghbors and much larger
Remeljen Posted March 21, 2005 #7 Share Posted March 21, 2005 The closer you are to the sea level and middle of the ship the less motion you will feel.:)
