trmom2 Posted June 23, 2011 #1 Share Posted June 23, 2011 We are going with a group on Freedom of the Seas and there is an interest in doing a pub crawl on the ship. Has anyone ever planned their own? One idea is to start in one bar, ask the bartender to make his specialty drink and divide it into multiple glasses so everyone gets a taste, then off to the next bar checking them off the list as we go. Would love any ideas someone has for doing this?
Sequim88 Posted June 23, 2011 #2 Share Posted June 23, 2011 We have a crawl set for our Mariner cruise next May. List of bars is all set with one optional one incase someplace is too busy. Planning to spend 30-45 minutes at each but select our own drinks. At 2 per 60-90 minutes nobody will get hammered at that pace. Cute option has been added. Poker hands for $5. At each bar everyone (20 signed up so far) selects a card froma deck. Then at last one the pot is split 60/30% to the two best hands and 10% for the lowest hand. This is almost exactly how we did it on our Mariner cruise 2009 - the Mexican Riv cruise that went North to Canada instead. It was really fun.
