JRarey Posted June 26, 2011 #2 Share Posted June 26, 2011 The water in Celebrity's pools is salt water and is drawn from the ocean. However, I cannot say for certain that it is not treated with Chlorine. Joe

Salt water pools are chlorinated but instead of adding chlorine to the fresh water the chlorine is created from the salt.

bigwalt0176 Posted June 26, 2011 #5 Share Posted June 26, 2011 We have been on the Connie and Millennium in the Carib and the Solstice also in the Carib. We have found the M-Class ships to have salt water and the S-class to be fresh. Can't speak to chlorination as salt water does contain chlorine. We prefer the salt to the fresh but that's just us. Both I will assume are filtered.
