forwardcabin Posted June 27, 2011 #2 Share Posted June 27, 2011 I was just invited to upgrade to an Ecstasy Owner's Suite. Are they really worth the upgrade? ...depends on how you look at it... It is a large suite with wet bar, large screen tv, sofa and chairs, separate bedroom, walk-in closet and large bath (with tub!), and private balcony. Certainly, you will have much more square footage than other cabins. You have picture window views of the pool deck area. It is in a quiet location at the top of the atrium off by itself--no other traffic to bother you. It is, however, located just under the jogging track, so you might hear early morning walkers and runners right over your bedroom. The little kids club is located just under your suite--not quite sure if any of that noise will make its way up to you, though. Your balcony view is obstructed by one of the lifeboats. The A/C doesn't always make it up that high, so the suite may stay quite warm in hot weather. You will just have to judge for yourself if it is the right choice. We know Ecstasy is a really great ship with a wonderful crew and staff. The food and service is excellent. The entertainment is outstanding. The current CD, Steve Cassel, is a really great host and talented entertainer. Here's hoping you have a great cruise. Bon Voyage!
