Beach suggestions please

Hi.. family and I (husband, 2 daughters, 21 & 19 will cruising to Barbados on May 22,2005 sailing on the Adventure of the SEas. In November of 2003 we were on the Serenade of the Seas and went to Paynes Beach.. I don't know if it was the spot our cab driver took us too or if this was how the beach was.. but we weren't too impressed. Does anyone have any suggestions, on nice beach.. with chairs to rent.. drinks etc. A pretty beach with calm waters.. Thank you for your help.

Try Mullins - it's very calm, good snorkeling - more of a bay. From what I remember there was also a beach bar there as well.

I like Miami Beach (also known as Enterprise Beach). Do a search on this board for my previous posts which describe the beach in detail.

My suggestion would always be Accra Beach. waters not always calm but a nice stretch of beach with plenty of spots to eat and drink and relax..
