Sailingstagediva Posted July 4, 2011 #1 Share Posted July 4, 2011 My dad has a few questions: 1) Is there a refrigerator in the cabin? 2) What are the dimensions of 8A balcony cabins? 3) What is the benefit of being a return guest of Carnival? 4) Can you order a case of water for the cabin? 5) Is room service 24 hours? Thank you!!
Sailingstagediva Posted July 4, 2011 Author #2 Share Posted July 4, 2011 Two more: 6) Where do they show movies? 7) Are there robes in every cabin?? Thanks again!
golfadj Posted July 4, 2011 #3 Share Posted July 4, 2011 Benefit of repeat guest is invite to past guest party. Room service is 24 hrs.
Daizzie Posted July 4, 2011 #4 Share Posted July 4, 2011 There are no fridges in cabins...only in full suites. However, if you require one for medication you can call carnival to arrange getting one. We just did this for our upcoming cruise. 20 days to go and impatiently counting down :D
Huck Posted July 4, 2011 #5 Share Posted July 4, 2011 There is a mini-bar in the room, but it does not keep stuff very cold. You can ask the room steward to remove the bar contents and you can keep you stuff "chilled" for the cruise.

Had one on last two cruises (DCL and RCI). So it doesn't get cold?
Froufie Posted July 4, 2011 #8 Share Posted July 4, 2011 Don't remember whether or not the Miracle has a fridge in cabin? Some ships do and some don't - but as mentioned if you need one for meds it can be arranged. Room service is 24 hours - you just need to tip a few bucks when it's delivered. Robes in every cabin - hanging in the closet You can't order a case of water but you can bring one onboard at embarkation - they do sell bottles on the ship but they are a bit pricey. But honesly there is nothing wrong with the ship's water....just bring your own water bottle and enjoy!
Huck Posted July 4, 2011 #9 Share Posted July 4, 2011 Ships equipped with mini-bars are: CARNIVAL CONQUEST, CARNIVAL DREAM, CARNIVAL FREEDOM, CARNIVAL GLORY, CARNIVAL LEGEND, CARNIVAL LIBERTY, CARNIVAL MAGIC, CARNIVAL MIRACLE, CARNIVAL PRIDE, CARNIVAL SPIRIT, CARNIVAL SPLENDOR and CARNIVAL VALOR. Ya, it will keep your drinks chilled, not cold. But bring a collapsible cooler and have the room steward keep it filled with ice.
Sailingstagediva Posted July 4, 2011 Author #10 Share Posted July 4, 2011 Just two questions left. Cabin size? Where they show movies?? Thanks all!! ;)
lambs2 Posted July 4, 2011 #11 Share Posted July 4, 2011 Most cabins on the Miracle are 185 square feet - inside and balcony. The balcony adds 40 more feet to the total and there are extended balcony cabins that add 60 square feet or more. Sorry I can't answer your movie question. Thank you!! 1 - every room has a refrigerator type "mini bar". they are more like electric coolers. 2 - 185 sqft. 3 - up to 9 cruises: an invite to a past guest party. 10+ cruises: vip entitlements. 4 - no. you must bring it on yourself. 5 - yes
H82seaUgo Posted July 4, 2011 #13 Share Posted July 4, 2011 Two more: 6) Where do they show movies? 7) Are there robes in every cabin?? Thanks again! 6 - on your stateroom tv 7 - yes
ALEX122495 Posted July 4, 2011 #14 Share Posted July 4, 2011 6 - on your stateroom tv 7 - yes They sometimes have a movie on a big screen in the Mad Hatters Lounge - watch the funtimes daily for movie listing. Note - not every day but usually at least one . Check out John Heald's Bermuda fun times (http://johnhealdsblog.com/funtimes/2011-06-24/Carnival%20Miracle%20Bermuda/ ) , and you will see one on day 4. I don't know if they have 2 on the longer cruises.
Delta Dear Posted July 4, 2011 #15 Share Posted July 4, 2011 The refrigerator in our balcony cabin did an adequate job of keeping my husband's insulin, and humalog cold. We emptied it ouf the contents so that medications were the only things being kept in it.
LUPY48 Posted July 4, 2011 #16 Share Posted July 4, 2011 I also found that if you leave the cabinet door (where the fridge is housed) ajar, it will stay much cooler.
