paracer Posted July 6, 2011 #1 Share Posted July 6, 2011 My wife and I will be in Halifax, ns and Saint John, nb in a couple weeks. We want to have a lobster lunch one day. Where should we go? My ideal would be to be sitting at a picnic table with a pitcher of beer (I'm very much used to picking blue crabs down at the shore). I can survive if there aren't any hush puppies to be found, though.

They have picnic tables and you can be served outside. http://www.steamerslobstercompany.com/restaurant
mamaofami Posted July 8, 2011 #3 Share Posted July 8, 2011 In Halifax, we enjoyed lobsters at an outdoor table at Murphy's on the waterfront. They were very good and so was the view.
paracer Posted July 10, 2011 Author #4 Share Posted July 10, 2011 Thank you both for your replies :) We'll be sure to stop in for a nice lunch somewhere while we're in port.
davispigeon Posted July 20, 2011 #5 Share Posted July 20, 2011 We went to St. Martin's during our St John stop and got a REALLY CHEAP lobster lunch there...it was $10 to ADD an entire lobster to an entree! There's only one restaurant there, the name escapes me right now.
