What is best Dim Sum restaurant in Seattle?

Recommended Posts

We love Dim Sum and have only had it in NYC. We would love to try it in Chinatown. What is a good dim sum restaurant in Seattle's Chinatown?

What time do they start serving? We only have a an open morning?

Well, opinions will vary, but I'd probably suggest Harbor City on S. King Street - a block or two east of the "middle" of the I.D. It's something of a hole-in-the-wall, so look sharp.

Not trying to put you off dim sum (as if) but you might also enjoy a browse through the marvelous Uwajimaya supermarket/department store at 5th and Weller. Fabulous place, terrific food court with all sorts of Asia/Pacific cuisines available, from Hawaiian to Chinese, Thai to Filipino. It's a short walk from the I.D. light rail/bus tunnel station.
