Honey's Gal Posted March 21, 2005 #2 Share Posted March 21, 2005 Many people ask what the earliest boarding time may be, and the only answer that can be given is that it truly depends on what time they can clear the ship from the previous cruise. This can be done in most cases by 10:30 or 11 AM at the latest. Please keep in mind that the Windjammer is open for lunch so many times you can board by noon. On our last cruise, aboard the Serenade in San Diego, we did not board until 1PM. Every one will be different. If you don't mind waiting, be there by 10:30 you may get lucky
BobBeaSea Posted March 21, 2005 #3 Share Posted March 21, 2005 We were on Voyager-the Mar. 5 sailing, you will have a great time. If you are staying at a downtown hotel near Bayside you are about a 5-10 minute cabride from the pier. I'd suggest going about 11:00am. If the ship didn't have problems clearing Customs you should bo onboard by noon. If there were problems they will most likely start boarding around 1:00pm. If you are flying in the day before do spend some time at Bayside-great spot. Have a great time.
