Ever not docked in Honolulu?

We'll be visiting Hawaii in November 2011. My 15-year-old Lost fanatic son wants to do the Hummer tour of Lost locations. Sounds like a blast, but with no refunds after 48 hours prior, I'm a bit hesitant to book something that will cost $300.

I've read where other Hawaiian ports have been missed due to high seas, weather, etc., but does that ever happen in Honolulu? (I know anything is possible, but...)

Thanks for your help. I really appreciate the generosity of all of you who post. Your assistance really helps people make the most of these (for some of us) once-in-a-lifetime experiences!
