El Cid?

It is a time share hotel right next to the piers (Puerta maya and TMM). No sand beach...sand brought in. Ladders down to the water. Food stinks. Beer cold. ALOT of crew members go there and get pretty loud. I don't like it because it has an industrial feel too it with the ships right there and the time share pitch!

Thanx.......they e-mailed me and said it was $10.50 per person to use their facilities (chairs, pools, showers, hammocks). For that price, I'd rather spend the day at Chankanaab. Not sure what we are going to do yet, but just am trying to check out all possibilities.

I would rule out El Cid or La Cieba as it is also known because of the crew even if the hotel was located someplace nicer. The crew crowd can get abit out of hand...lots of drinking, some nudity - topless Europeans, loud...did I mention they like to drink? It's not the fun crowd...
