davecttr Posted July 17, 2011 #1 Share Posted July 17, 2011 I booked a cruise online for Ventura this September and the final payment date is the end of this month. I paid by cheque using P&Os postal address and the amount was deducted from my bank account last monday. On tuesday I received a letter from P&O reminding me I had to pay by the 21st of the month. Question - should I expect P&O to acknowledge my payment, either by post or email? Cruise personaliser is filled in correctly with all my details but there is no mention of payment. I would hate to get to the 21st of the month and have P&O state that my booking lapsed because of late payment. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

If it's cleared from your bank then payment has been taken... Indeed it does but I was expecting a receipt within a couple of days. Ah!, they use TNT post, it can take ages to arrive.
