Payment confirmation

I booked a cruise online for Ventura this September and the final payment date is the end of this month. I paid by cheque using P&Os postal address and the amount was deducted from my bank account last monday. On tuesday I received a letter from P&O reminding me I had to pay by the 21st of the month.

 

Question - should I expect P&O to acknowledge my payment, either by post or email?

 

Cruise personaliser is filled in correctly with all my details but there is no mention of payment.

 

I would hate to get to the 21st of the month and have P&O state that my booking lapsed because of late payment.

Does the letter not state "please disregard this letter if you have made a payment in the last x days" ..

 

If it's cleared from your bank then payment has been taken...

Indeed it does but I was expecting a receipt within a couple of days.

Ah!, they use TNT post, it can take ages to arrive.

I will phone them tomorrow.
