Drive Time around Grand Turk

In reality, how much time would it take to get around on a golf cart...say from the cruise port to the lighthouse?

 

We are only in port from 7am-2:30pm and I still wanted to hit Jacks for a couple of hours. Trying to determine if its worth the $80 for the cart for just a few hours.

DD and I got about half way up the map (to where the Osprey Hotel is located) took us about an hour. We had the golf cart about 3 hrs, and then went back (our choice, it was our third port in three days, and we were exhausted). I would have liked to make a few stops to snorkel, like up a little further at Pilory Beach, but we decided to head back. Let DD (15 y.o.) drive:eek::eek:. She drove much better than she read the map.

We are hoping to squeeze in some beach/lunch time at Jacks so still debating whether or not its worth the $80 for just a few hours of cart time.
