The Jewel is a Jewel

I can understand the OP's enthusiasm for the Jewel as we have sailed with HD Hugo many times on the Dawn. Whatever ship he is on is a happy ship. We board the Jewel in October but unfortunately, Hugo will be on vacation. We will miss him.

 

He'll be back before our cruise.......can't wait to see him again. Switch to our cruise, LOL.

We sail the Jewel Oct 29th. Big big Dawn fans. Can't wait to try

the Jewel. NCL is the best. We have been away 2 plus years. If

she is anything like the Dawn-I know we will love this ship too.

the crew is outstanding. our butler nelson on the 14th deck was absolutely amazing. the staff is friendly and the crew was very helpful. i miss the "washy washy" lady in the buffet. its always nice to get sterlized before a meal! i often think of that wonderful first cruise on the jewel

I believe that Hugo is at the helm, therefore the second-to-none crew. :)

Wherever Hugo is, the crew is phenomenal.

Is Hugo currently on the Jewel? We sail on Saturday.

 

I hear the menus in the MDR are supposed to change beginning this Saturday. What do they mean by "more like a specialty restaurant"? Does that mean the menu will be the same every night, or just that the quality will be slightly higher than before?
