That said, IMO, ships on Alaska voyages never even move. ;)

cherylakers Posted July 20, 2011 #4 Share Posted July 20, 2011 Just returned from the Diamond and it was smooth sailing the entire way. The weather was cold around glacier bay, but the ports were in the high 60's to low 70's. Our day in Vancouver was bright and sunny and wonderful. Went to Victoria too and it was beautiful out. Have a great cruise. We loved it. Try the reindeer chili on top deck on Glacier Bay Day. yUM. They had a really nice Alaska buffet outside at the pool. Sunkissed Mommy Posted July 21, 2011 #5 Share Posted July 21, 2011 We went from Whittier to Vancouver at the end of June. Seas were a bit rough in the Inside Passage between Ketchikan and Vancouver. We have been on plenty of cruises and I admitted to my husband that this was the worst I felt. For the first time I had to take Dramamine.
