switched cabin

We were in cabin j1018, under the casino. We wanted to get a cabin that were next door to the other couple we are traveling with, and so they had cabin 1024. We didn't want adjoining cabins nor did we want to be cabins that were adjoining to others, since they can be noisy.

 

But I was worried about the casino being above us, so I checked the open cabins and decided on 1053. I called just after 8am today and talked to Matt, gosh he was so nice, efficient, and helpful! No problem. And now we are under the edge of the culinary art center.

 

Hope my SIL and BIL are okay with the walk to our cabin...or maybe they will change too.

We have mostly had adjoining cabins on cruises and have never noticed noise. We have once or twice heard something from the next door cabin - and that was without adjoining doors. :)

We've sometimes had a connecting cabin and had been concerned about potential noise. Like Boytjie we've never heard a thing from the other cabin. On other cruises we've heard what goes on the adjacent (non-connecting) cabin. :eek: Enjoy your new cabin.
