I wouldn't walk on the beach late at night.

 

Why not? We have gone down with the dog to walk the beach, not up on seawall. If there is a full moon, it is beautiful.

Walking on Seawall, as any other street in any city, one should exercise caution. It is a different world we live in now.

The Hotel Galvez has a shuttle that goes to their other hotel, the Tremont House, one block from the Strand. Post Office Street has art galleries and more restaurants - 2 blocks from the Tremont in the other direction. The Tremont guests can use the pool and facilities at the Galvez.
