gquest Posted March 23, 2005 #1 Share Posted March 23, 2005 Hello everyone, I have been reading everyones post on booking at Comforts Suites and was wondering if this gives one access to the slides at Atlantis or is it just to the aquariums? How much does this package cost? Thanks
alylee777 Posted March 23, 2005 #2 Share Posted March 23, 2005 g We just booked this. You just book a room at comfort suites for the night and have access to everything at Atlantis, including pools and slides. I think my kid will be in heaven. dyanna72 Posted March 23, 2005 #3 Share Posted March 23, 2005 Booking a room at Comfor Suites does let you use all facilities at the Atlantis Resort. The Dig, all pools & beaches & marine lagoons. The price depends on what time of year you are going. I recently booked a room in August for $165. plus tax. Each room only allows you access to 4 wristbands which you need for access. These wristbands you will receive in the pool area at Atlantis. Just need to show you Comfort Suites receipt. If you have more than 4 ppl you will have to book more than one room. No way around that
MizzouMary Posted March 23, 2005 #4 Share Posted March 23, 2005 Do you book the CS directly through them or with a 3rd party on-line site? Thanks!
trstno1 Posted March 23, 2005 #5 Share Posted March 23, 2005 Do you book the CS directly through them or with a 3rd party on-line site? Thanks! You can book it through the Comfort Suites website, but it will often say that there are no rooms available when rooms can be found elsewhere. Many people use the link to Comfort Suites on www.smarterliving.com to get a 10% discount. If the Comfort Suites website says no rooms available, try Travelocity, Expedia, or Hotels.com, or you can use tripadvisor.com to search them all at once. I found a room that way, though it wasn't one of the cheap rooms. Others have noted that if you can't find a room anywhere online, you can still call the hotel directly and get a room: 242-363-3680. Good luck!

moneeman Posted March 26, 2005 #8 Share Posted March 26, 2005 If you are a AAA member, you can also book it through them. I did so at the same discounted price as smartertravel.com.
Carter29072 Posted March 27, 2005 #9 Share Posted March 27, 2005 We are going to the Bahamas at the end of April and going to the Comfort Suites and Atlantis to swim, etc. Has anyone here ever ordered room service (sandwiches, etc) and taken lunch with them or do you just bite the bullet and spend the money over there on lunch? Thanks for your input!
suezyq50 Posted March 27, 2005 #10 Share Posted March 27, 2005 We have taken sandwiches from room service with us when we went to Cozemel and at the beach. Meals at the Atlantis are pricy, although that is relative, but are very good. :D At pool side you will have waiters walking around to take orders. There are several restaurants to select from. A quick Grab and Go, to casual buffet, to sit down. Time would be another factor you will want to consider. It can easily take one hour or more when sitting down. Thanks for your input! I've never been myself YET but . . . what I've learned is that Altantis has "burger stands" around the pool areas where you can get burgers/fries for under $10 each . . . I know that's still pricey (can go to a 1/2 decent sitdown place at home for that!!!) but . . . it'll save the hauling/storage issues from the ship to Altantis!!!!! Vellamint Posted March 31, 2005 #13 Share Posted March 31, 2005 Hello everyone....this is my first post on these boards and I cannot believe that I have stumbled onto a discount for the Comfort Suites.... We have four children and NO WAY will attempt to sneak into one room.....and I cannot believe the price of 2 rooms....this discount will really really help - I just wanted to ask - please - is this a discount for anybody, will I need to know the small organization etc. name when I go to check in? I am really nervous about being stopped at the counter when I get there as I have read in other threads on other travel boards that they are very strict about room occupancy and once even refused to honor a price that was accompanied by printed confirmation. Any thoughts would be appreciated....thank you.
tracyg13 Posted April 9, 2005 #14 Share Posted April 9, 2005 I have never been able to get this question answered... If we want to spend a Sunday at the Atlantis, do we book the hotel for Saturday night or Sunday night? Thanks!
snidly Posted April 10, 2005 #15 Share Posted April 10, 2005 Hello, we just got back from a Bahamas cruise on the Majesty of the Seas. We were in Nasau till 11:59pm so we called Atlantis when we got in port and asked if they had any dayrooms, and they did. Although it was in the Towers so it did cost a little more. $250.00 for the day. We had to be out of the room by 6pm but we still could use everything at Atlantis till we went back to the ship. We had a great time on all the water slides. All except the one that's almost straight up and down. Didn't try that one. We stayed in the water till about 5pm then went to the room and took a shower then took in the rest of the place. My granddaughter had a great time, this is something she has really wanted to do for a long time.

scubagirrl Posted April 11, 2005 #17 Share Posted April 11, 2005 Do you know what time the pools stay open until at the Atlantis? Depends on the time of year. In the winter months, the pools close at the first sign of dusk, so at some point, that can mean around 4:30pm. In the spring/summer months, the pools close around 6pm, with the chairs being stacked around 5:30pm. Management tends to push people towards dinner and the casinos. breadman Posted April 13, 2005 #18 Share Posted April 13, 2005 We also booked a room at the comfort inn for the day. We were on the Majesty of the seas back in Feb. It cost around $200.00 for the four of us. Figured it was cheaper than doing an excursion and we got to use all of Atlantis water park and digs. It was a nice way to spend the day since we were in port all day.

snidly Posted April 17, 2005 #20 Share Posted April 17, 2005 We just got back from that cruise and we spent the day at Atlantis and didn't make it back for formal dinner. However when we did get back we got all dressed up and had our picture taken. This was our granddaughter's first cruise so we had to do that. suezyq50 Posted April 17, 2005 #21 Share Posted April 17, 2005 Did you prebook your day at the Atlantis? On the Majesty in 6 days for the 3 night cruise. I want to do the day at Atlantis, but thought we would wait until we got there. Were there a lot of people due to spring breaks?
snidly Posted April 17, 2005 #22 Share Posted April 17, 2005 You can't prebook. When you get off the ship at Nassau and you get off the pier you have to go through a building. It has pay phones in it. Call Atlantis and see if they have a day room. The price depends on which building has an open room. We were in one of the towers so it cost us $250.00 for the day. That is for 4 people. You have the room till 6pm but you can still stay and play untill you are ready to go back on board. We did all the water slides and lazy river and pools all day, then went back to the room around 5pm showered and then took in the rest of Atlantis. Hope that helps. svolpe Posted April 20, 2005 #23 Share Posted April 20, 2005 So, I've booked a room at the Comfort Suites for Sunday, Aug. 7 so that we can use the Atlantis facilities for the day. However, we have a short stay in Nassau, so I plan on being at the hotel by 9AM. Anyone know if the hotel will let me check in that early? I'm not planning on using the room since we'll only be there for a short time, however I'd like to maximize our time at Atlantis.
Carter29072 Posted April 20, 2005 #24 Share Posted April 20, 2005 Yes you will be able to use the Atlantis facilities when you get there. I am booked next week for the day and I called the hotel and asked them if they would let us go over and get our wristbands early so we could use it for the entire day. They said yes.
