Irons and hair straightners

It seems that taking Irons on board are a big no no please tell me these rules won't apply to my GHD's!!!!!!

Your hair straightener is fine to take onboard. If you need an actual iron for your clothes, just ask the room steward for one to borrow.

I've taken a curling iron every single time and never had a problem.

Forgot to mention....I'll do just about anything to get out of ironing clothes when I am at home, so you know good and well I'd never try to take a clothes iron on vacation with me!

curling irons, straightners are okay and if you pack in dry-cleaner bags you have little to no wrinkles and sometimes the first day there is a pressing special.

And Downy Wrinkle Releaser is great at taking out wrinkles...comes in a travel-sized spray bottle. Never leave home without it!

No irons, but hair straightener is fine. I brought a hand-held steamer that worked great and is permitted. I did iron everything before packing though so the wrinkles were at a minimum.

Me too! It works so well..I hate ironing..and refuse to do it on vacation

Phew that's a relief - I've never heard of the wrinkle spray thingy! Probably not available outside US.

 

I also hate ironing but somethings just need it!

 

A handheld steamer sounds a good idea - probably quicker too - can you still put in ironed in creases for shirts arms and smart trousers?
