ERIE 13 Posted July 28, 2011 #1 Share Posted July 28, 2011 I know stat wise they are the same but I have read someplace that one is slightly larger either by weight or size.
negc Posted July 28, 2011 #2 Share Posted July 28, 2011 Allure is allegedly a slight bit larger than Oasis but it isn't a difference that anyone can notice. BTW GRT is not a measure of weight but of volume.
Puffinater Posted July 28, 2011 #3 Share Posted July 28, 2011 The Allure is slightly longer than the Oasis but I don't think you can tell by looking at it.

cdamion Posted July 28, 2011 #6 Share Posted July 28, 2011 The debate is not over. While Allure is 2" longer size wise, Oasis is 200tons heavier weight wise. According to the Captain of the Allure, "You have two sisters. You know that one is older, shorter and heavier than the other. Which would you choose?" http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/40359777/ns/travel-cruise_travel/t/allure-seas-elevates-cruise-ship-entertainment/

Zini while on board Allure, "Allure is the younger, taller and slimmer sister."
