artist-man Posted July 29, 2011 #1 Share Posted July 29, 2011 will be returning to waikiki on poa early saturday. flight home isn't until 9 pm. is there a place to leave our bags so wife and i can cab to china town to stroll, have lunch, shop a little. we've been to pearl harbor so will probably have a light dinner and a few drinks late in the day and try to arrive back to the airport around 6 or so. so. question is: is there a baggage check room at the airport? or at the dock? cost? any other options? otherwise we'll probably have to rent a car for the day just to have a place for the bags. not sure of the cost but will probably be $125+. pretty sure a couple cab rides wouldn't cost that even if baggage storage has a cost. thanks for any and all suggestions. art

We got our minivan (from thrifty) for under $70. You just have to factor in the time and hassle factor of the car pickup/dropoff.
Pokeraddict Posted July 31, 2011 #4 Share Posted July 31, 2011 You also need to know that car break-ins are very high as they know to target tourists and rental cars so the luggage needs to be able to all go into the trunk which can be a problem.
