Stingray morning tour - can we make it?

On Carnival Victory - arrive in GC at 7:30am. Can we book Capt. Bryan's 9:30AM (8:45am meeting) Snorkel Tour? Will we have enough time to tender in and walk to the meeting place? Has anyone done this? Will Capt. Bryan drop us off at 7-mile beach so we can enjoy that during the afternoon???

Thanks in advance!

We had similar concerns so we booked the 10:30 sail on the Buccaneer but it turned out we had plenty of time and could have easily made the 9:30 sail. (We did Stingray City with 2 snorkel stops.) The walk to the office is very easy, close by. Check out the bakery next door!

However....we sailed with Celebrity (each line may have different tendering protocols)...we got the earliest tender allowed (ship tours take priority, but again each line is different)..and we were docked quite close to the pier (the ride was under 5 minutes) Be sure and check local island time vs ship times as well. **Most tours operate on local island time**

They will drop you off @ your hotel or whatever.....we went to 7 Mile Beach and cabbed it back to the pier.

We were on Star Princess March 13-20 and arrived in Grand Cayman around 7:00 a.m. We also had an 8:45 meet time. We took an early tender from our ship, and since Capt. Bryan's is only a 5 minute walk from the pier, we made it with plenty of time to spare. Capt. Bryan's actually wound up delaying our tour to wait for people who had reservations and weren't there yet. There were 7 ships in port that day, and it was very windy so tendering was a bit rough. It was a great tour - Astor was our guide and we had a great time. We didn't have time to do anything else, so we went straight to the pier when we were finished. Swimming with the stingrays was one of the highlights of our cruise!! Enjoy :)
