092306 Posted August 1, 2011 #1 Share Posted August 1, 2011 We'll be sailing with our 14 month old on the Miracle in September and am wondering what the oatmeal is like in the MDR. Is it in packets served with hot water or something already prepared? Is it fine for a baby? Thanks!
JennLuvs2Cruise Posted August 1, 2011 #2 Share Posted August 1, 2011 Oatmeal is already prepared in the Main Dining Room & Lido Deck for breakfast. A bowl of brown sugar & slivers are almonds are generally next to the oatmeal to add at the Lido breakfast buffet. I'm sure your waiter will ask you if you'd like anything for the oatmeal in the MDR. And lastly, yes, its perfectly fine for a baby! My son enjoyed oatmeal many times when he cruised at 9 months and 21 months. :)

JennLuvs2Cruise Posted August 1, 2011 #4 Share Posted August 1, 2011 Great, thanks for the info! Your welcome!! Also.. There are made to order omlettes, hash browns, scrambled eggs, sausages, fresh fruit, individual boxes of cereal and much more that your toddler can enjoy! Feel free to take a box of cereal with you off the ship for a snack in the port. Milk can be ordered 24/7 thru room service. Milk is available during breakfast, but you can ask a staff member at the Lido buffet to grab one for you during lunch and dinner hours.
