sheilauk Posted August 2, 2011 #1 Share Posted August 2, 2011 Hi guys, Have studied the deck plan til I'm blue in the face, but cannot work out which cabin has the most usable balcony space! 7172 looks wide, but maybe too narrow, so that then leaves a choice between 7176 and 8670. I'm leaning towards 8670, simply because it has cabins above and below, but will I be missing out on a bigger balcony if I don't choose one of the cabins on deck 7? Also do they all have a full size lounger on them? Please advise what you would choose, or if you have stayed in any of these aft cabins on Brilliance, thank you so much :)
Aubiecruiser Posted August 2, 2011 #2 Share Posted August 2, 2011 As a 4 time cruiser on the Brilliance, I think the higher the deck the better. There is really no basic difference in the size of any of the three balconies you are looking at. I've had aft cabins on two the cruises we've taken on this ship (on deck 9) and really am of the belief that you can't make a wrong decision.:D Aubie
emilygrace Posted August 2, 2011 #3 Share Posted August 2, 2011 The one thing about those deck 7 aft cabins is that you are directly above the Colony Club and the music might bother you.
shays6291 Posted February 20, 2012 #4 Share Posted February 20, 2012 do you know if you can open the partitions between the balconies on the aft? we are travelling with a large group and have all of the aft staterooms on deck 8 reserved for Feb 13 sailing. travelbug11 Posted February 20, 2012 #5 Share Posted February 20, 2012 The AFT balconies are smaller as you go down. There should be 2 loungers and 2 chairs plus a small table. If it was my choice, I would take 8670.
