bluehorizonlover123 Posted March 24, 2005 #2 Share Posted March 24, 2005 I like to arrive around 1130 to noon to avoid the longest lines which usually begin around 2pm.
Fogmalkin Posted March 25, 2005 #3 Share Posted March 25, 2005 You will be welcomed aboard with little or no line. (I've actually only experienced a 'line' that lasted all of 8 minutes when a huge group of us checked in all at the same time). Your stateroom will not be ready until approx 2:30. You will be shown to a deck where you can enjoy lunch and then prowl around investigating the ship until you go to your assigned stateroom. When I "check in" early my big suitcase is normally delivered within a short period of time (if it isn't waiting for me).
gmon6612 Posted March 25, 2005 #4 Share Posted March 25, 2005 We've only been on two RSSC cruises (Voyager/Navigator) and are scheduled for the FLL Voyager FLL - Funchal trip on 4/23. We've encountered no lines when arriving around 1 PM. After making our reservations at the specialty restaurants, we've headed straight for lunch - either by the pool or in the main dining room.
