Grand Princess

We are considering Grand Princess for 2012. Could you tell me what are the best Mini Suites on the Grand Princess (better location, larger balcony)......... After several fantastic Holland America cruises and one disastrous Celebrity cruise, we are looking forward to trying Princess. So any comments would be more than welcome.........

Thanks for sharing your knowledge.

If you like covered mini-suites, the Emerald deck ones are for you... but they are aft of the ship. The Dolphin deck ones are completely uncovered (although I really like them). That is the only difference between them. Same balcony size (except for the 2 furthest aft ones on Emerald deck, which have extended balconies). Have a great cruise!

This is exactly the information that I needed. Yes, we do prefer a covered balcony and I had never thought that some balconies could be uncovered. On all the HAL ships that we have been on, all balconies were either fully or partially covered. It will be exciting to try Princess..... Thanks for the info
