Looking at extended aft balcony on the truimph...any suggestions on which deck is best between upper, empress, verandah

I would not choose Verandah deck due to noise overhead. We heard deck chairs being moved around on Lido deck when we stayed in an aft wrap on Triumph. It wasn't too loud, but it was noticable. On Empress deck you'll have passenger cabins above and below you which would likely be quieter.

I have had extended afts on the Triumph twice. I reccomend the Empress Deck, deck 7. There are cabins above you and below you so noise won't be an issue. I have stayed in 7433 which is almost dead center in the back of the boat. I have also stayed in 7429. Both cabins are great but honestly any aft cabin on that deck would be a good call.

Thanks...we were thinking that the verandah deck may be the deck with the less noise but never thought of the pool above us....is there a particular dinning room you get assigned to in the aft? Or is it just a random selection...we will do anytime dining.
