Peggy's Cove by taxi?

Recommended Posts

Is it possible to just get a taxi at the port in Halifax and go to Peggy's Cove. How long would the taxi ride be and about what would it cost? It sounds like everything else we want to see is walking distance from the ship. We would like to see the Maritime Museum but not the Titanic cemetary. Then we would just like to walk around the port.

I don't know the cost of a taxi. You could try contacting one of the companies to ask. It is about a 45 minute drive.

Here is a post from TripAdvisor last year:

You are correct that if you don't want to see the Titanic cemetery (I never have seen it even though I grew up there!) then you won't need a car for the rest of the day.
