Carmic Posted August 5, 2011 #1 Share Posted August 5, 2011 Is it possible to take the Metro from Hobart to Bonorong Wildlife Park? I looked at the Metro web site, but it doesn't say if it goes directly to or close to the park in Brighton. If so, can someone tell me where and what number would take us there? Thanks, Carol
kuldalai Posted August 6, 2011 #2 Share Posted August 6, 2011 The public transport system in Hobart is exclusively buses . Suggest you look up Wildlife Park website and that should detail how you get there by public transport .

Birubi Posted August 10, 2011 #4 Share Posted August 10, 2011 I got a great reply from the wildlife park - as follows The Metro bus service will take you from Hobart (near the GPO) to Glenorchy where you change buses to get to Brighton. The last stop is Jubilee Ave from where you'd have a 20 minute walk up to Bonorong. The bus drivers are often most helpful in pointing you in the right direction and the ladies at the Metro desk inside the GPO in Hobart can also assist. Below are some links to the Metro website: http://www.metrotas.com.au/uploads/file/HBT%20Timetables/NonUrban/110103_3%20-%20Brighton%20TT2.pdf http://www.metrotas.com.au/attachments/hobart/Brighton.jpg Hope to see you up here soon! :D
