What's open at 7:30 AM?

The Conquest is scheduled to be in Cayman from 7AM to 4PM. Just in case we do make it on one of the earlier tenders, IS there anyplace open at that time to shop or visit near the dock as we wait to be picked up for our 8:30 tour?

I don't think so,from the research i've done, most things start to open around 8:30.

The last time I was in the Cayman's me and my DH took the 1st tender at 7 thinking to look around while the kids got ready with grandma for our 8:30 tour.

 

I won't say nothing was open, we did find one place that was. We went wandering, well because it was SOOOO quiet. Like not even people on the street quiet. We did find this little donut shop about 5 block away from port. We got some really great coffee's for a few bucks (it was July so iced coffee's at least!).

 

But yeah in my experience nothing was open at all, so if you are looking for shopping or to do window shopping in preparation for after your excursion I would stay in bed another hour ;)

The quiet almost sounds tempting. May be worth getting off the ship at that time to enjoy Cayman without the crowds. Even if it is only for a short time. Thanks for the help. :)

I think they are an hour ahead of ship time. At least that what Moby Dick tours told me.

The Cayman Islands observe Eastern Standard Time (EST) all year'round. No setting back or forward of clocks there. Where that time is in relation to your ship's time will depend on the time of year and your ship's time.
