Island Princess Casino slot machines

Hi:

I know this has been asked and answered, but can't seem to find answers again. Really need a simple explanation as to how the slots work, as far as putting cash in, which I don't think is done.

Do you get a "special casino card" that you put money on and use that card in the poker machines?

I'm a bit confused.

All help is appreciated. This is not how it was back in 2006, but then again, what is? LOL

;)

Thanks in advance for all information. Going 10-10, 10 night Panama Transit.:)

Safe sails always.

You can put cash in, you just can't get cash out. Your cruise card holds a seperate casino account on it (not actually connected to your onboard account unless you wish to take funds charged to your shipboard account). Each machine has instructions, and it's very easy to do. If you wish to download winnings, you do that to your cruise card (that holds a seperate casino account), and then you can either cash it out at the casino cage, or take it to another machine and download the amount you wish. It's a lot easier than it sounds, and as said, full instructions are on each slot machine.

Keep in mind, unless they have changed since our last cruise, if you have any winnings (hahahahaha) the amount that goes on your cruise card is REALLY separate as Toto indicated and that amount won't be used to cover any expenses you put on the card (as I figured it would). You have to go to the casino cashier to get the money off your card. I'm not sure what would happen if you didn't do that - we almost did until we saw a sign the last day of the cruise that alerted us to it.

Normally, if you have a balance left in your casino bank, they will send a note to your stateroom to remind you to cash out in the casino. ;)

Thanks Toto and all! Think I have a better understanding of Princess' system!;)
