Can't decide which one next?

Trying to decide on next cruise, Carnival Valor or Liberty. Was first gonna choose Freedom but dates don't line up for us. Anyone able to give info on one or both? :confused: We've been on the Victory, Conquest and the Dream.

i was looking at the Liberty-it's going into drydock in October. So anything after October, the Liberty will seem like a "new" ship.

As of yet, the changes for Liberty have not been announced.

We are looking at going Sept 2012, On Liberty=Bahama, St Thomas, San Juan, Grand Turk 7day. On Valor St thomas, Antigua, Tortola, Nassau 8 day. We've been to both St thomas and Nassau. Just can't decide which one to choose.

I have been reading a lot of posts about both of these ships and people seem to like the Liberty better than the Valor. I was trying to decide between the Dream and the Liberty - I have been on the Dream but wanted to try a different class of ship but I may just stick to what I know - I am sure you will have a great cruise on either ship :D Some people make their choice by price - if the Liberty is 7 day and Valor is 8 then figure out what it is per day to sail and thats how I would decide. JH said in his blog if you are looking to cruise the caribbean book the Liberty (this was when he was talking up the dry dock)
