Salmon bake in ISP or Ketchikan?

Is this the wrong question to ask for ISP and/or Ketchikan? I saw the other thread on salmon bakes in Juneau. But my Juneau itinerary is already packed. Hoping to do this in ISP or Ketchikan. Any suggestions?

The visibility of salmon is a function of the time of the summer you are going. Very early or late summer limits how many you will see. Mid June - Mid July you can see thousands of them in downtown Ketchican under the bridge. We were the August 11th. Some were there to see, but not a whole lot. Other than that, I have never done a Salmon bake off the ship.
