mdeering Posted August 10, 2011 #1 Share Posted August 10, 2011 I am looking to book a Pacific Coastal Cruise and am interested in the Sky Suite. The choices are the Century and Millienium. The pictures I can find of the SS on the Century show the TV on the wall over the couch. The pictures I can find of Millienium show the TV on the desk, opposite the couch. Both ships on the Celebrity web site show a floor plan with TV over the couch. Which is correct? Thanks, Marilyn

cynbar Posted August 10, 2011 #5 Share Posted August 10, 2011 This wasn't the OP's question, but I just wanted to chime and say that we loved the Sky Suite on our recent Summit cruise. We were originally booked in a C2 and decided to move up. It was a great decision, much roomier and more comfortable than a balcony cabin and the butler service was a nice plus. djhsolara Posted August 11, 2011 #6 Share Posted August 11, 2011 We just booked a Sky Suite on Millennium and from what I can see from photos I've seen of the stateroom the tv in our suite is in the corner opposite the couch. :) :)
mdeering Posted August 11, 2011 Author #7 Share Posted August 11, 2011 Thank you djhsolola and cynbar for responding. It seem ridiculous-with so much else to do-but I really enjoy watching movies on a cruise. So the TV placement can be an issue.
JBMN Posted August 22, 2011 #8 Share Posted August 22, 2011 Parrot head, did I see that you were in SS? Considering booking that suite but was wondering if you had extra noise due to the proximity of the elevators? Thanks

Considering booking that suite but was wondering if you had extra noise due to the proximity of the elevators? Thanks We heard nothing out of the ordinary.. Usually I hate noise from other rooms etc .. but this was not the case The room was a little squeaky due to the seems in the joists.. They tried to rememdy the issue with wooden shims.. I LOL'd at the craftsmanship..
