blakethan Posted August 11, 2011 #1 Share Posted August 11, 2011 Has anyone done the Light House tour in Bar Harbor? Trying to decide between it and Acadia National Park. Cant do both because Light House tour is right in the middle of the day! Is the light house tour worth missing the park? Im from West Tenn. and have been to the Great Smokey Mts. numerous times-but Ive never seen a light house! Can you see the lighthouses from the ship? SailBadtheSinner Posted August 11, 2011 #2 Share Posted August 11, 2011 I would tour Acadia National Park and not do the lighthouse tour. The reason is that there are numerous lighthouses you can see as you approach the various ports of call on your cruise. Just remember to get up early and bring a good pair of binoculars. I haven't checked your itinerary (too lazy today), so I'll just throw out a few lighthouses you can visit on a cruise ship excursion or independent.
