Zenith 4 Day Cruise - Mayan Ruins Shore Excursion

I am looking into the 4 day cruise on the Zenith in November. The ship stops in Cozumel, but doesn't arrive till Noon, and stays till 10 PM. I am hoping someone might be able to reply about the shore excursions. Specifically, the tours that take you to the Mayan ruins. One of my family members definately would like to visit these ruins, but the Ships tours are from 6 1/2 to 8 hours in duration, and I was wondering if these tours would even be offered since we arrive mid-day. Hoping some one who knows, might be able to share experience and information if such a tour to visit would be available. Thanks.

Yes, they are offered but.....it gets dark so early in the winter you will be finishing the tour in the dark. It is 2 hours of travel time to get there. You might consider visiting the ruins here at San Gervasio instead.
