RCL Scuba excursion on Grand Cayman??

I am considering doing the RCL Scuba excursion boat dive on Grand Cayman and would appreciate any past experience.

The list price on RCL with gear for boat & 2 dives is $119 so not overpriced.

Does anybody know who RCL uses for dive shop?

What is the typical dives they conduct?

Is the dive time limited? 1st diver out of air or do other divers get more bottom time based on air usage.

Since I am newbie and still seem to suck air hate to cut someone else short. Just did two dives at 44+ft with 2700lbs cold water (maybe 55 degrees).

Thanks

we did RCL in 01/10 so thing smay have changed since then. I thought they used Red Sail. First dive was along the wall, split into 2 groups, 1 group going depper (80-90) and the second group at about 50-60. Second dive was at the Greeen Gold wreak. Dives were good, did not feel like a cattle car until the end of the Green Gold when there was another group there also. They were another Red Sail crew so all the stuff looked the same. Ended up with the wrong group so it cost my dive master a case of beer. Liked the setup of the boat as they had a pvc trapeze bar hanging down for the stop and you could just hang on it

Thanks for the info. I started to research Red Sail and see they list RCL as a client on the web site.

Compared to Cozumel, is the diving is Cayman worth it? Is there a nice reef and good amount of nice fish to see? Last time we dove in Belize and Hawaii we were disappointed. I guess if you've always dived in Cozumel its hard to compare. We're going next month and trying to decide to dive in Cayman or just do stingray city.

I have done 2 dives in Cozumel (1 trip) and 4 (2 trips) in Cayman. If i could only dive at one location I would take Cozumel but you should consider my limited experience.

Both Eden Rock and Sunset House have good reputations and are close to the cruise ships. I just did a guided two-tank shore dive with Eden Rock a couple weeks ago and it was incredible! I'm going back in January and this time will only rent the tanks ($16) and weights and go out on my own with my friends. We dove Devil's Grotto and Eden Rock. The maximum depth on both dives was about 46 feet. I got some fantastic photos there.
