lilyfrog73 Posted August 15, 2011 #1 Share Posted August 15, 2011 Will there be anything that my 4 year old son will be able to participate in? Looking for advice or suggestions from families who have traveled with younger children. Thanks!
BNBear Posted September 6, 2011 #2 Share Posted September 6, 2011 Took our grandson - 3 at the time to the stingrays. Dad held him and he enjoyed the water - wasn't afraid of the rays either. We also went to beach in Jamaica and he would walk out til water was about knee deep and then walk around - there were a few fish in the water he could see so he enjoyed it. BIG_Steve Posted September 7, 2011 #3 Share Posted September 7, 2011 I would guess he'd enjoy the Turtle farm. Some tours offer both the Stingrays and Turtle farm together, along with a drive out to "hell." Which would likely cause him to be giggling the whole way about that "naughty" word. ;)
lilyfrog73 Posted September 7, 2011 Author #4 Share Posted September 7, 2011 Thanks for your responses. I think the turtle farm will be a definite. And yes, he will definitely giggle at the naughty word ;)!
jmo1 Posted September 9, 2011 #5 Share Posted September 9, 2011 I agree with going to Stingray City and the turtle farm. Don't miss Stingray City, as it is the highlight of any trip to Grand Cayman. The rays are like puppy dogs, and an experience any 4-year old will remember for a lifetime.
Cya@Sea Posted September 12, 2011 #6 Share Posted September 12, 2011 We took our son age 3 at the time, on the rays reef and rum point tour with Nativeway. He had a blast. He still talks about it 2 yrs later. We are going back again for the rays in May 2012. He is excited to go back and kiss HIS stingray.
