horn hi aces Posted August 19, 2011 #1 Share Posted August 19, 2011 We are on Carnival cruise to Colon, and also did the same cruise 2 years ago, and we did MFM tour for locks, portabello etc. We were looking for something simple and maybe not a full day. considering panama outdoor adventures, who seems to have good interesting sounding activities, but I find very little information on CC regarding them. Also, I saw a recommendation from Richard from a while back to go to Gamboa resort, which sounds great to me for some pooling, relaxing and a short rainforest tour. Does anyone know whether they have a daily resort fee or whether they care if non guests are hanging out? also, what are my options for getting to either of these? is it just cab? we will have about a dozen people. Thanks, John

John, I'd suggest just Google Gamboa and email them and find out about a resort fee. My experience has been that if you hang out at resorts, are low key, and buy drinks and lunch most are happy to have you. However, if you arrive with "about a dozen people" carrying Carnival towels . . . it might be a different story. Best to ask. And does it make a difference to you if they charge a fee or not?? horn hi aces Posted August 19, 2011 Author #3 Share Posted August 19, 2011 We are totally fine with paying a fee and will certainly be funnelling money their way for drinks and food. Thanks for the prompt reply.
