There is WIFI on all ships.

I thought it was painfully slow when I used it but that was a while ago. It could have gotta better.... :confused:

Yes, and it worked pretty well for cruise ship internet.

Ship internet is via satellite, and very expensive. Since it is via satellite the amount of traffic on the feed is going to determine the speed. More traffic means slower speeds.

 

If you want to upload photos you'd be better off finding internet in port. There are plenty of places and I also will clear off messages via Webmail at an internet cafe in a port.

 

I went through 600 minutes on my April 2011 cruise on the Valor (sister ship). No problems with connections from our stateroom on the Spa Deck (Cat 8F #1103.)

I don't plan to upload photos. Just keep maybe websurf, games and text apps when relaxing. Probably more at night and Sea Days.
