Debarkation & Saints Football in New Orleans

My family is booked on the Carnival Conquest, leaving New Orleanas November 13, 2011. Most of us are from the area, so we are very familiar with the traffic problems on Saints game day - and they play at noon! So, my questions is, how soon do you think we should try to get to the pier? Beat the traffic in (coming from the Baton Rouge area) or wait until it clears out a bit? Ideally, we would like to be on board by noon and have the ability to actually see the game! We are all huge fans. What are your thoughts? Has anybody had this problem in the past? All suggestions are welcome.

Thanx, Lynda. I totally misread the schedule! Sorry. However, do you (or anybody else) know if the game will be televised on the Conquest? Big screen on lido, or in the Sports Bar? I can't imagine that my family will be the only Saints fans to board that day. Again, I appreciate your input.
