Diving in San Juan

If you are advanced enough to be Nitrox cert'd, then I don't think you will be happy with any of the diving near San Juan. I haven't tried diving there myself, but I have it from reliable sources that any of the good diving to be found on Puerto Rico is more than a couple of hours drive from San Juan.

Of course, I could be wrong and someone will be able to offer up some advise telling you who to contact to arrange diving. But unless they do, I wouldn't get my hopes up.

Good luck and please let us know what else you find out.

We have acouple of beginners so a shore dive will work for them. If I don't get to use Nitrox on this one thats ok. Warm water diving is better than 50

degree water. Nitrox just give you a little boost.

Thanks for the reply
