Christmas cruise new orleans

Considering Christmas cruise out of new orleans. How far is port from airport and what is the best way for 2 to get there? Any suggestions or advice would be helpful. Thank you

That would be a great time to come to New Orleans. The weather is rarely too cold and there is a lot going on in New Orleans around Christmas, so it would be great to stay a few days pre-cruise. The airport is about 30 to 45 minutes from the port, depending on the time of day you get in and traffic.

As for the best way, probably a shuttle or taxi. There is plenty online if you Google.
