Eurodam - Dec 31st - First Night is New Year's Eve...?

Hi all,

We just booked the Eurodam for the December 31st sailing. I've never been on HAL before (only RCCI) but my experience on cruises that include New Year's eve is that this is one of the formal nights. However, it is our first night, and typically not eveyone gets their bags in time to change for dinner -so first night is always casual on RCCI.

Anyone know what HAL will do for a first night that is New Year's eve?

Many thanks,

Alisa

I don't know what they would do for New Years but perhaps they would make it a Formal-Optional night...They have been known to do this on occasion.

I hope this is the case. Although, even if it's not formal or formal optional, I'll probably still wear something formal just bc it's NYE! :)
