Duty Free at Port of Malaga

Hi, someone mentioned on another thread that after security in Malaga Port, there is a duty free shop where you can buy items and take on board in your carry on, is this correct?

Yes, there are shops after the security control that sell wine and beer at reasonable prices. However, they are not duty free since most of the cruises going out of Barcelona are not leaving the EU!

There is a duty free shop there, but the drink and ciggies area was cordoned off as our ship wasn't leaving the EU. There were some other shops selling wines, sangria, souvenirs in this area as well..
