How far is the NOLA airport from cruise port?

We'll be sailing out of NOLA in March next year....wondering if I should book a 12:30 or 2:30 flight? How long does it take to get to the airport from the pier?

It is about 30 to 40 minutes, maybe 50 if there is a lot of traffic (but usually is not on the weekends). Check the parade schedule for the if your cruise if before March 8th because there will be parades - http://www.mardigrasguide.com/calendar/

Thanks for the info. Our cruise leaves NOLA on March 3. We're heading into town Feb. 29th.....the cruise returns March 10th, so we'll be heading to the airport on Sat. the 10th.
