Elusive_Cruiser Posted September 8, 2011 #1 Share Posted September 8, 2011 We just 'won' (Priceline) a room at Circa 39 in Miami Beach for 3 nights pre-cruise in January - $130/night. Trip Advisor reviews seem alright - any feedback here? The pictures seem pretty, but so did the ones at our last San Juan hotel, personally recommended by sis-in-law which had dust bunnies in the bathroom and not enough room to place our suitcases anywhere on the floor or dresser in the room! We stayed there before a Transatlantic about three ago. It was very nice. Remember the smaller art deco hotels are older so rooms are smaller, but enjoyed our stay. You can walk, to South Beach, but it's bit of a hike. Regards, Rod

SoBe2010 Posted September 8, 2011 #6 Share Posted September 8, 2011 San Juan is a nightmare in South Beach. Circa39 is a nice hotel, however you will need a car or take a cab to get to the lincoln road/ocean drive. Walking distance is about 45 minutes.
